can is good but the worst spout I have ever used, it leaks and is messy

 Solid can, lousy spout Sep 17, 2008
I really don't like the plastic "spill-proof" spout that comes with this can. There's a rubber gasket that wants to come out and actually *prevent* the valve from closing, which completely defeats its purpose.
This is a very solid can, so I'm glad I bought it. But do yourself a favor and buy the traditional metal spout for it (Blitz 12040 3/4" Metal Screw On Spout) -- you'll be glad you did.

 Can your gas May 30, 2008
I've owned 5-gallon metal gas cans before and this is top notch. Very well made and worth the money.
Good product, but delivered dented Dec 30, 2007
The price was great. Same product I could have bought localy but at a 3rd of the cost.
Only complaint was that it was delivered dented and the return is a big hassle so I kept it.

The absolute best design for a gas can. Easy to fill, easy to pour (with a metal spout) and easy to carry. Makes all other gas cans pathetically inferior.
