Works great Sep 19, 2008 I bought this to do a brake fluid change on my motorcycle and it worked very well. It can be used for many other things as well. It has an informative booklet with instuctions for all the other uses that are pretty detailed. I am glad I bought it as it made the fluid change very easy.

Not in stock May 14, 2008 Do not order this tool from Amazon! Amazon's normally a great business to deal with, but I ordered My Mityvac in March, and have extended my order twice, and still have not received one. Amazon's product discription page says it's in stock, but it apparently isn't. Don't know if this is a mix-up between the warehouse and the web masters, but in any case, I'd order one elsewhere until they get this inventory issue fixed.

Simple, Effective. Apr 09, 2008 When I went to take my motorcycle out of storage, I found that the clutch was not working. The service manual identified air in the hydraulic clutch line as the probable cause.
After consulting with a mechanic-friend, I tried to bleed the line the old fashioned way. I suppose it's easy enough if you know what you're doing, but this was my first time out of the gate. I wasted an hour or two and made quite a mess.
After some research, I found that several motorcyclists recommended using the Mityvac. They were dead on. Twenty minutes after I opened the package, I had bled the line and my clutch was working perfectly. The tool is constructed in a solid fashion and comes with clear directions for many applications (ABS brakes, standard brakes, motorcycle lines, etc.) This tool is a great time saver and definitely a worthy investment.
Now, on to that old, cloudy fluid in the brake lines....and maybe the brakes on the van...and maybe the neighbor's bike...
